A little shameless self promotion, I'm afraid.  The Professional Photographers of Canada, Manitoba Chapter had it's annual Awards Banquet on Friday and to my total disbelief (and delight), I was selected Manitoba's Photographer of the Year!

It was a great night, and I was honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence as Marlene Fast, an amazing photographic artist.  Marlene was the runner up, but I should also mention that she has won the award 3 times (I think -  it may be 4!) in the past.

Thank you to everyone who entered the competition and created the high bar to shoot for!!!
